Solution 1: Try to Change the Paper Size or Media Type
The first thing that you need to do is to press the RESUME/ON button to cancel printing. After that, change the setting of paper size and media type and then print one more time.
Take a look at different paper sizes and media types below.
When the media type is set to the Photo Paper Plus Glossy II: The paper size should be set to 4"x6'' 10cm x15 cm (Windows) or 4x6(Mac) or 5" x 7" 13 cmx18 cm (Windows)/ 5x7(Mac).
When the media type is chosen to Glossy Photo Paper: Change the size of the paper to 4" x 6" 10cmx15cm (Windows) /4x6 (Mac)
When the media type is chosen as Envelope: Set the size of the paper to Envelope com 10 (Windows)/ Envelope #10 (Mac) or Envelope DL (Windows/Mac).
Solution 2: Manual Windows Update
- Turn ON your PC and log in as an admin panel.
- After that, press the Start button and then select the option of All Programs. After that, go to Accessories and then go to System Tools. After that, tap on System Restore.
- Then, you will see a new window opening up before you. There select the option of "Restore my computer to an earlier time" and then select Next.
- After that to fix the Canon printer error 4102, choose the latest restore point from "On this list, click a restore point and then select on the option of Next.
- Now, go to the confirmation Window and select the option of "Next" one more time.
- Restart your PC once the restoration is over.
