How to Login 192.168.l.l IP Address?

Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to log into your router using a web browser.
Step 1: Establish a Connection
First of all, you are required to connect your router. You can either establish a physical connection using an ethernet cable or by connecting your router wirelessly.
Step 2: Open the Login Page of Your Router
Open Google Chrome, Firefox or any other browser and then enter the IP address in the URL section of your browser. The default IP address of your router is either labeled at the back or base of your router. You will see that address labeled as default access or router login. An IP address is a string of numerals separated by points.
The default IP address is usually 192.168.1.1. Enter the IP address in the URL section or search area of your browser. Now, the router login page will be displayed on the screen. There, you must enter the username and password.
Step 3: Enter the Login Username and Password
In order to open the web-based settings page of your router, you must enter your router login credentials. The default username and password are labeled on the back or base of your router. The most common default router username and password are admin and password.
In case you are not able to log in using the given credentials, then you must perform a factory reset.
How to Log Into Your Router Using an App?
Recently introduced models of routers allow users to access router settings using mobile app. There are some cases where you can only access the settings using the app. You can also use this app to setup your router. In order to access router settings using the app, below are the steps you need to follow.
Step 1: Connect Your Smartphone to Your Router
Connect your mobile device to the wireless network of your router.
Step 2: Open Router App
Once you connect your phone to the router, the next thing that you need to do is to download the router app on your mobile device. You can take a look at the router manual to learn how to download and use the router app.
Step 3: Use Account Credentials to Log into Your Router
After downloading the app, you need to open the app and log into it by entering your login information. If you are a new user, then you need to create an account. The username and password you use to log into your router aren't the same as the login information you enter to access your router's web based setup page.
