I'm Utterly Baffled by This. Epson XP-510

My Epson xp-510 only prints crisply and clearly when printing from a specific computer where specific custom settings are used - (Print used system dialogue, Photo Matt paper, Best quality). Anything else and the print is blurred. So for example if you print from the same computer but fail to select system dialogue etc, you'll get a blurred print. Also if you print the same document from say a mobile device, again you get a blurred print, presumably because there are limited options when printing from mobile device. Ideally I'd want to set my custom settings as the absolute default settings - but this is just an option. You can only add a preset. Any ideas?
