Strange Cartridge Problems on Epson Stylus Pro 9890

Hi I have an Epson Stylus Pro 9890, And the other day I got this message. "ink cartridge error replace cartridge" on ALL cartridges. Tried reseating them all, the show ok until you put in the last one (could be any of them, always shows ok until I put the last one in) then it shows all of them bad. What is the solution? I am using Epson Ink Cartridge. When "ink cartridge error replace cartridge" is flashing, I am not able to do any update of the printer. Can anyone help? Regards Fred
