Why I am Getting Printer Port Error 2147024830 and How to Fix This?

I have an Epson wireless printer at home and I have been using it for over an year now. The printer had a few issues 3 months back and once I got it fixed everything was back on track. Last night when I gave a print command the printer screen and the app flashed a message which said, " port error 2147024830 ". I tried resetting the printer but the error message continued to flash, can anyone tell me what is this error and how can I fix it?

Go Through This Process to Clear Printer Port Error 2147024830 -

  1. Press right-click on Taskbar and then go to the context menu to choose the option “Start Task Manager”.
  2. Choose the Processes tab and then search the name of Epson Port Handler Service File. This service file may be look alike “Epsonph.exe” or “EpsonPOSPort.exe” as it will mainly depend on your Epson model and software configuration. Now write down the service name.
  3.  Go to your desktop and then tap on Start button > All Programs and choose Accessories.
  4. Next, press right click on Command Prompt and the go-to context menu to choose the option “Run as Administrator”.
  5. In the command prompt window, you have to type the following command i.e., “sc delete (Epson Service Name)”. Hit enter after entering the command.
  6. Lastly, reboot your operating system.

Other Troubleshooting Tips for Printer Port Error-

  • Open Windows services by clicking on Start menu and then select the Administrative Tools link from the pop-up menu. To launch the list of windows services, tap on Services.
  • Stop Print Spooler services. For this, go through the list of windows services and look for the name print spooler. Then press right click on Print Spooler and then choose the option “Stop print spooler service”.
  • Delete Printer Port. For deleting the printer port, you have to open Control Panel and then open the configuration window by pressing double click on “Devices & Printers” option. Press right click on your Epson printer and then choose the Printer Properties from the pop-up menu to enter into Printer Properties Configuration window. After this, click on Ports tab and then remove the port by clicking on Port Delete button.
  • Restart Print Spooler. Once you have Delete Print port, you have to restart Print Spooler Service. Go back to Windows Services Configuration window and then press right-click on Print Spooler service. After this, choose Start from the pop-up menu to start the Print Spooler service. Once Print Spooler service restarts, you can begin the process of adding back printer or printer port Error.
