In case you are setting up your printer device for the first time, then remove the packaging and take out your printer device. After that, you are required to install the HP Sprocket app and then pair your smartphone and printer device.
Then, load the sheets in the machine and then you need to calibrate the printer. Below mentioned are the simple steps that you need to carry out in order to set up an HP sprocket photo printer.
Take out your printer machine from the box and then remove the plastic covering. After that, you must recycle the packaging materials.
The next thing that you need to do is to install the HP Sprocket app on your smartphone. After that, pair your smartphone to your printer device using Bluetooth. You need the app to connect the printer to your smartphone for printing photos.
Step 1: Go to the homepage of HP Sprocket and then carry out the instructions appearing on the screen to download and install the app.
Step 2: After you are done installing the app, then power on your printer.
Step 3: Go to the Bluetooth settings menu on your smartphone. Also, ensure that Bluetooth is turned on.
Step 4: Then, launch the HP sprocket app.
Step 5: Now, the welcome screen will open up before you. Select the option of setup and then carry out the instructions appearing on the screen.
Step 6: Select the menu icon and then select Sprocket. After that, select the option of Manage Printers. A list of available Sprockets will open up before you.
In case your printer shows up, then it means it is connected. In case it does not show up, then select the option of Add New Printer and then select your printer.
Load the photo paper in the input tray of your printer device.
Step 1: Power off your printer.
Step 2: Take off the cover on the top by sliding it and then keep it elsewhere.
Step 3: Load at least 10 photo papers. Please ensure that the blue card with barcodes is placed at the end of the sheet stack.
Step 4: In the next step, you are required to align the top cover with the tracks given in the external area of the printer. After that, slide the back cover into its original position.
Step 5: After that, power on your printer.
Use the HP sprocket app to send a print job and calibrate your printer using the Print Quality Card.
Step 1: Launch the HP Sprocket app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Choose the photo that you wish to print by going to the Home Screen.
Step 3: Select the option of Edit for adjusting the photo appearance. After that, add stickers, text or apply filters.
Step 4: Tick to save the changes made and then select the print icon. Use the colored card to calibrate your printer.
Step 5: Now, wait for the pocket to become silent or idle and then remove the card. After that calibration is done, you can print the photo.
