Connect Brother Printer and Computer via Bluetooth

If you want to connect your brother's printer to your computer using Bluetooth, then here is how you can do that. First, connect your printer to a power source and switch on your printer. Activate the Bluetooth function on your printer by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button. You will then have to access the control panel depending on the version of Windows you are using.

Go to the "settings" section, choose the "devices" option, and select the "Bluetooth and other devices" option. Tap on the add Bluetooth or other device option.

You have to then pair both devices, go to the list of all the available Bluetooth devices, and choose your printer then the "print and scan" window will open. If needed, you will be asked to enter a Bluetooth pin code.

Brother Printer Bluetooth Setup

Step 1: Go to the menu bar and then select set up Bluetooth device from the Bluetooth menu. After that, you will see the Bluetooth setup assistant window before you.

Step 2: Go to the list of printers select the appropriate printer from there and then click on continue.

Step 3: Choose the option of Using a specific passcode to enter the Bluetooth password. After that, select OK and then select Continue. The default password of the printer is the final 4 digits of the serial number of the printer.

Step 4: Once you reach the conclusion screen, you need to select the option of Quit.

Serial Port Setup:

Step 1: Go to system preferences and then select Bluetooth.

Step 2: Now, go to the menu and then choose Edit Serial Ports.

Step 3: After that, go to the protocol pull-down menu and then choose. After that, you need to go to the service pull-down menu and then select Apply.

Add Bluetooth Printer:

Step 1: Launch the Brother printer Bluetooth setup program. Select Macintosh HD Library, then Printers and then select Brother PocketJet Utilities. After that, select the Bluetooth printer setup. app.

Step 2: Go to step 3 and then select the port name that is specified.

Step 3: After that, go to the print using the pull-down menu and choose the printer. Then, you need to click on Add. You will see that the printer device will get added to the Print and Fax option of System & Preferences.

In the end, you will require a PIN or password to connect the printer device to the computer system via Bluetooth adapter. As mentioned before, the PIN is the last 4 digits of the serial number of the printer. Now make use of PJ-600 Utility for changing the password if required. You can also download and install the utility.

So, these are all the steps that you are required to follow in order to connect the Brother printer and my computer via Bluetooth.
