Problem with Kodak all in one printer software?

I am trying to install Kodak all in one printer software on my HP computer running Windows 7. But software installation fails at that moment when the message “installing drivers” appears. I have also tried installing in “Windows Vista Compatibility mode” as well as “Run as Administrator” mode but every time I get the same results i.e., “Installation Failed”. Does anyone have any idea how to troubleshoot Kodak printer so that I can install the printer without facing any further technical issues?

Just read these eight steps carefully to install Kodak all in one printer software on your HP computer (Windows 7) -

  1. Firstly turn on Kodak printer and confirm that it is properly connected to wireless network.
  2. On your system, go to Start > Control Panel> Hardware & Sound section. After this, you have to click on “Add a printer” link.
  3. Next, tap on “Add a network” and select the installation type. From the list of recognized printers, just choose your Kodak printer. If your Kodak printer is not present in displaying list then move further.
  4. Tap on the option displaying as “My printer is not listed here”. After this, you have to click on “Add a printer with TCP/IP address”. Now you have to enter the static IP address of your Kodak printer and then hit Next button.
  5. Change the default name of your Kodak printer and then hit Next button. Next, click on Finish to install Kodak printer on your HP computer.
  6. In next step, go to the context menu, press right-click on Kodak printer and select Properties. Tap on Ports followed by “Add port” button.
  7. Select TCP/IP option from the list of displaying results. Then tap on “New Port” button followed by Next button.
  8. At last, input the static IP address of your Kodak printer and then click on Finish button. Also, confirm the new port configuration by clicking on OK button.

I hope now your Microsoft Windows 7 will recognize your Kodak printer.
