How to Setup HP Tango Printer?
You can set up the HP Tango printer with the help of WPS and the HP smart app. First, you have to connect your printer to a wireless network. If your Tango printer shares WPS compatibility then here is how you can connect your printer to a Wi-Fi Network and set up the HP Tango printer.
Turn on your printer and locate the WPS button on your HP Tango printer, it is usually situated at the back or the bottom of the printer, now you have to press and hold the WPS button for a few seconds till it shows the starting of the WPS connection. Now you have established a wireless connection with the Wi-Fi network and the blue light will turn into a solid one on the control panel.
How Do I Setup HP Tango Printer?
If you want to know how to setup HP Tango printer, then these are some of the things that you need to do. First of all, to setup HP Tango printer, you need to unbox the printer and after that, you must connect it to the wall outlet, then you need to load paper and install cartridges.
Step 1: Unbox Your Printer:
Take the printer out of the box and setup the output tray
- Take out the printer and power cord from the box.
- Remove the covering of packaging material from the printer.
- Keep the printer on your output tray and align all its corners using indentations.
Step 2: Connect Your Printer to the Power Source:
In the next step to setup HP tango printer plug the main power wire to the side of the printer and connect the other end of the wire to the electrical outlet and then you need to turn your printer on.
Step 3: Install Ink Cartridges and Load Paper in the Printer:
Load A-4 size sheet or plain paper in your input tray. After that, you need to install the ink cartridges which came along with the printer.
- Slide the width of the paper to the corner of your input tray.
- Place or load the stack of white sheets into your printer’s input tray.
- Now, to setup HP tango printer, slide the width of the sheet that you have placed in the input tray of your printer until they start touching the corners of the printer.
- Press the button of ink door for opening up the ink cartridge access door. After that, lift up the door and stop when it gets opened up.
- Take out an ink cartridge from the package. Carefully hold the cartridge from the black plastic side.
- Remove the plastic tape from the ink cartridge and then recycle the tape and packaging.
- Now to setup HP tango printer, keep the nozzles towards the printer and place the ink cartridge in the right slot. Now, you need to squeeze the cartridge for snapping it into the right place.
- Repeat the same procedure for other ink cartridges.
- First, you need to lower the ink cartridge access door and gently press it for locking it in the right position. Once you have installed all the ink cartridges, the alignment page will be printed by the printer.
- Wait for the alignment page to get printed and eject from your printer.
Step 4: Connect Your Printer to the Network:
Use your HP smart application for connecting your printer to the wireless network. HP smart application is available for free and will enable you to manage the settings of your printer. Not only that, it will also help you in connecting your printer to the network.
It is available for Mac operating system, Windows 10, Apple iOS, and Android devices. In case you are using a computer system with Windows 8.1 operating system, then you must use WPS method for connecting HP tango printer to WIFI network.
Step 5: Add HP Tango Instant Ink:
Once you have completed all the above-mentioned steps, then you can add HP instant ink in your printer. This way you will be able to save time and minimize the cost of printing. Once you have enrolled it, the printer is going to automatically detect the ink levels of the HP tango printer. In case the inks are low, then the HP instant ink will mail new HP tango ink cartridges so that you can replace the with the old ones.
