1. First of all, plug your Samsung printer into your system. Verify that you are plugging into the USB port and not in a USB hub. After connecting your printer to the proper USB port, plug printer to the power source.Next, turn on your printer. Your printer will light up and you will hear page feed mechanism start.
2. Now, wait for a couple of minutes so that your operating system can detect your printer. If you are using the latest version of the operating system then it will automatically detect your printer and also install the necessary drivers. In order to download the appropriate files, you will need an internet connection. On the other hand, if you are using the older version of the operating system then your system will not automatically detect your printer and you have to manually perform some further steps.
3. In next step, you have to download the software for your printer. If your Windows operating system does not automatically install any drivers then you have to manually install extra printing software so that you can enjoy additional features of your Samsung printer. Once your printer gets automatically install on your system there is no need to download anything else.
4. Next, visit printer’s manufacturer website and then download the drivers according to your printer model number. Well, printer model number should be prominent on the printer itself.

Once drivers get installed, your Samsung printer is ready to print files on your computer.
