Why is my Samsung Wireless Printer not responding?

Hi all! I have setup Samsung CLX-4195FW Printer as a network printer. After setting up everything properly, when I tried to print, “printer not responding” message displays on the screen. When I scan, printer shows as “disconnected”. Please help me to fix this issue so that my Samsung wireless printer can work properly, its very urgent!

Fix Samsung Wireless Printer not Responding -

Follow these steps to troubleshoot Samsung wireless printer -

  1. First of all, confirm that your Samsung printer and router is on. After checking this, you have to find out whether the wireless adapter driver properly installed or not.
  2. Go to your desktop and click on the Start button. Move to search box, type “Device Manager” and then hit Enter. From the displaying results, choose the Device Manager option and then go ahead.
  3. Next, navigate to Network Adapters and then search for the entry that contains a yellow exclamation mark. When you find the proper entry, press right-click on the Wireless adapter option and then choose the option “Uninstall”.
  4. Now, visit the Samsung official website and then download the latest wireless adapter driver according to your Samsung printer model number. Once you download the appropriate driver, just install it on your operating system.
  5. Once the wireless adapter driver gets install on your system, you have to reboot your operating system.
  6. After rebooting, check if your Samsung wireless printer is working properly or not.

If due for any reason, you are unable to install a wireless adapter driver on your OS then you should set an ad-hoc wireless connection between your Samsung wireless printer and router that you are using.

Let’s see how to install ad-hoc wireless printer connection -

  1. Firstly turn on all devices, such as Samsung printer, router, and PC. After turning on all devices, insert software CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  2. Next, tap on Start > Accessories> Programs> Run. Then click on E.Setup.exe and accepts the terms and conditions of installation. After this hit Next and move ahead.
  3. Navigate to Printer Connection type window and choose the option “wireless network connection”. Then hit Next.
  4. Now you will see “Are you setting up the printer for the first time” screen, here just click on Yes button.
  5. Then you are redirected to next screen i.e., “Choose the wireless setup method”. On the same page, choose the option “Using a direct wireless connection”. Then hit Next.
  6. You are now redirected to “Press WPS button on your printer” screen, so just press Samsung printer’s WPS button.
  7. Once the wireless network set up process get complete, hit Next. Lastly, follow on-screen instructions to finish the overall process.
