Question

What to Do If Windows Cannot Connect to The Lexmark Printer?

I recently upgraded my Windows 7 operating system to Windows 10 operating system. After this, when I try to print with my Lexmark X4650 Printer, I am unable to print any business documents. To fix this issue, I used Lexmark Service Center troubleshooting wizard but didn't prove useful. Is there any way to get my Lexmark printer work with Windows 10 OS?

Lexmark x75 Driver Windows 10 :

It has been brought to our notice that many users face a similar printer problem when upgrading to Windows 10. Windows 10 seems to delete or remove certain pre-installed software and application which are not the main party software. I will discuss a few troubleshooting techniques to resolve the Lexmark x4650 driver windows 10 problem. Kindly follow them carefully:

1. Install Lexmark x4650 Printer Drivers: The update might have wiped out some of the third-party software drivers. So head over to your printer's official website. Search your Lexmark device by model number and then go to its respective download section. From the download section, download and install all available latest version of the driver. See if this fixes the issue.

2. Install Firmware: Just like drivers, Firmware too is a software program embedded into your system to maintain a good functionality and control over your device. This Firmware contains major updates regarding the issues faced with a previous version. Basically, Firmware acts as a mini update which resolves minor problems on your machine. So head over to your printer's official website, Lexmark in this case and install the latest available version.

3.Make your Lexmark x4650 printer as default: If your Lexmark printer has not been set as default then chances are it would go to sleep mode too often and your computer won't be able to detect it either. So head over to your printer's settings and click on it. Go to its properties and set it as the default printer for your network. Try printing a test page to see if it works.
