Question

Why Won't My Printer Print Anything! Why?

I just installed HP C7280 All-In-One printer on Windows 7 operating system. After completing physical setup when I print the test page, it was OK. But when I print anything from the web, my printer won’t print anything. It looks like everything is working but my printer not printing anything at all. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled printer driver but no results! Tell me why my printer is behaving in such way and how to resolve this problem?

The reason for your printer to not able to print anything from the web is weird as there is no issue in printing it offline. I will discuss a few troubleshooting techniques to resolve the problem. Kindly follow them carefully:

1. Update Firmware: Just like drivers, firmware to plays an important role in maintaining the functionalities of your printer. if your printer's firmware is out-dated or corrupt these kinds of issues may arise. Go to your vendor's official website and search your device model number. once you find it, go to its respective Download section and download the latest available version of firmware onto your computer.

2. Restart Your Printer: If the updating of your Firmware did not resolve the problem, power cycle your printer setup. Switch off your printer, computer, and wifi if your printer is connected to it. Wait for few minutes and then restart the process. Print a test page to check if the issue is resolved if not move on to next step.

3. Delete Print Queue: Go to your printer's print settings and check if there are any pending print jobs in the queue? If yes, delete them and then restart your printer and see if the issue is resolved.

4. Reset your printer: If any of the above-mentioned techniques did not resolve your issue then chances are, your printer is experiencing some internal software conflict. in this kind of scenario, we recommend resetting your printer to default factory settings. The reset will wipe-out any internal conflict or faulty settings at hand hopefully resolve the problem.

Hopefully, these steps helped you resolving your printing woes, in case if you have any further doubts or queries regarding the same then feel free to respond back and I will be glad to help you out.
